Run my own small automation-related company. Nearly 30 years old. We do stuff™. Won't go into details, it's boring. Slack off, slightly less income. Work hard, no free time. I generally slack off as much as possible (i.e. affordable).
- How much time do you play Eve?
Really depends. Not very much lately. Glorified chatbox mostly, while swapping skills and shifting market orders around.
- How has Eve impacted your life?
Much more as most games I've played, yet it's not the one with most influence. Pretty low impact, overall, I'd say... not negligible, though (on occasions).
- What is your intention while playing Eve?
To play EVE. I play for the sake of playing. Past-time, you know. Some short-term and a few long-term goals, sure, but nothing out of the ordinary. Oh, and whorum foring. I am more addicted to forum PvP than in-game PvP.
- What long-term goals do you have for your Eve experience? Skill collector FTW. Still, remaining unlearned skills are quite... expensive. So, I guess, "making ISK" is also sort of a long-term goal... but that's also everybody else's goal too.
Originally by: Julia Steaz My current situation I'll be honest; I'm a 20 year old virgin that lives in my mother's basement. I don't have an income. I spend every hour I don't sleep playing Eve-Online. Eve has inspired me to live; usually I'm suicidal. My intention is to keep myself busy doing something I like. My long-term goal in Eve is to establish an alliance of 5000 members known as "Revolutionary Freedom Fighters" to overthrow Concord so we can govern and control the majority of Empire space.
Oh, I guess you're in good company then, you'll find at least a couple hundred (maybe even over a thousand) other players in a very similar situation, and with nearly impossible high goals quite like yours. Heck, if you somehow manage to find eachother, get together and stick around without feeling like gutting every other one of the group, you might just be capable of reaching that goal... I mean, hey, one name... GoonSwarm.

It's a relatvely dark, pleasantly cool (as in "cold"), pretty silent and usually empty (as in "hardly any people") place, with several open/public WiFi hotspots. The BEST place to play EVE in the middle of a torrid summer day, especially if your home AC is on the fritz.
Like, duuuuh, WHY ELSE ?

Don't worry, I cleaned out Hell of monsters and came back to Mars decades ago.
